To comply with Circular No. 50/2024/TT-NHNN and Circular No. 77/2025/TT-NHNN, which amends and supplements a number of articles of Circular No. 50/2024/TT-NHNN on security and safety requirements for the provision of online banking services, Household Businesses, Micro Enterprises applying the simplified accounting regime, and newly onboarded Corporate Customers are required to authenticate transactions using Advanced SafeKey (in-app) in combination with facial biometric authentication.

Accordingly, ACB provides guidance for customers to perform the following:

Steps to confirm online transactions using face authentication

1. Update the device registered for face authentication

Step 1:

Select "More" and "Face Authentication"

Step 2:

Select "Update" if the device being used for transactions is different from the device previously registered for face authentication

Step 3:

Enter the ACB Safekey PIN

Step 1:

Select "More" and "Face Authentication"

Step 2:

Select "Update" if the device being used for transactions is different from the device previously registered for face authentication

Step 3:

Enter the ACB Safekey PIN

Step 4:

Take a photo of your face

Step 5:

Select "Confirm Transactions"

Step 6:

Face authentication device update successful

2. Steps to confirm online transactions using face authentication

When making online transactions on the ACB ONE BIZ (app version):

Step 1:

Select "Transfer", "QR Code", or "Payment"

Step 2:

Enter transaction details and select "Next"

Step 3:

Review the information: Select "Create" to proceed to Step 4.1, Select "Sign" to proceed to Step 4.2

Step 1:

Select "Transfer", "QR Code", or "Payment"

Step 2:

Enter transaction details and select "Next"

Step 3:

Review the information: Select "Create" to proceed to Step 4.1, Select "Sign" to proceed to Step 4.2

Step 4.1:

The system processes the order creation. Customers can track the status under “View Transaction Status”

Step 4.2:

Enter the ACB Safekey PIN

Step 5:

Take a photo of your face

Step 6:

Select "Confirm Transactions"

Step 7:

Transaction is being processed

When making online transactions on the ACB ONE BIZ (web version):

Step 1:

On the ACB ONE BIZ app, select the notification for a transaction requiring confirmation or select "Get OTP"

Step 2:

Enter the ACB Safekey PIN

Step 3:

Take a photo of your face

On the ACB ONE BIZ app, select the notification for a transaction requiring confirmation or select "Get OTP"

Step 2:

Enter the ACB Safekey PIN

Step 3:

Take a photo of your face

Step 4:

Receive the OTP and enter it on the transaction confirmation page
