ACB receives the award for the best risk management bank in Vietnam 2022

Established in 1996, The Asian Banker is Asia's leading rating and rating agency in the financial sector. In 2022, The Asian Banker detailed the performance performance of more than 100 retail financial institutions in the region according to specific criteria.

The Asian Banker highly appreciates ACB for its outstanding advantages in risk management model, which has a positive impact on banking performance. Specifically, the international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings has upgraded ACB's Government Support Rating (GSR) from "b" to "b+" and confirmed the long-term debt issuer rating (Long term IDR). ) at BB- thanks to ACB's risk management strategy, with better asset quality than the industry as a whole. ACB has maintained its bad debt ratio (NPL) at less than 1% for 7 consecutive years and the bad debt coverage ratio has always been high, reaching 159% at the end of 2022. Capital adequacy ratio increased from 11.2 % (in 2021) to 12.8% (in 2022), much higher than the level prescribed by the State Bank. It can be seen that ACB has always maintained a tight risk appetite, which is sometimes considered quite conservative but extremely effective.
