ACB officially launches card payment service via GOOGLE WALLET

(HCMC) – ACB is one of the first banks in Vietnam to deploy the payment feature through Google Wallet. From November 15, with just one touch on the phone, ACB's customers can pay quickly and safely at most points of sale globally.

The Google Wallet app is developed by Google to implement in-app and touch payments. Google Wallet allows users to make transactions using phones, tablets or smart watches on the Android operating system.

ACB's pioneering deployment of card payment service via Google Wallet in Vietnam has added value to millions of ACB's customers. Specifically, if in the past providing a contactless payment method "touch and transact" only with a physical card, now, according to the modern payment trend, it can be done on mobile devices. This payment method expansion creates flexibility and seamlessness for the spending experience, users no longer have to worry about forgetting their wallet or running out of cash.

For ACB Visa cards, linking is extremely easy by downloading the Google Wallet app to your phone, entering card information, agreeing to the card's terms and conditions, and authenticating through an OTP code. The card number will be completely encrypted (Tokenization) and not stored anywhere on the application's system. Therefore, the Customer's card information is absolutely confidential.

In case Customer does not own ACB Visa card, ACB provides 100% online card opening feature through ACB ONE application. With just a few taps, customers will immediately have a non-physical card with all necessary card information to integrate into Google Wallet and make transactions right at any point of sale applying the Google Pay form of payment without waiting for payment. physical card.
